John Diskant

John is a Senior Vice President with Ethos Real Estate and is responsible for their asset management platform. He is also actively involved in acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence. During his 15+ year career, John has achieved extensive experience in all aspects of asset management: creating and implementing asset-level business plans, deploying over $100 million in value-add capital, portfolio benchmarking, construction management, and leveraging property management capabilities.

Prior to Ethos, John spent 7 years at Roundhouse, a multifamily developer focused on emerging markets throughout the Mountain West. While there he built the asset management platform for a $500 million portfolio of institutional-quality assets, actively participated in underwriting acquisitions, oversaw capital projects, as well as due diligence and dispositions. He leveraged innovative technology solutions to deliver a data-driven approach to manage all aspects of Roundhouse’s portfolio. Previously, John worked at Colony Capital as an asset manager overseeing a $250 million portfolio of distressed and performing debt.

John is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he was a member of the varsity sailing team. He lives in Los Angeles with his family.
